The music-tech startup focuses on simplifying the legal side of music production with remix licensing, remix contests and original music licensing. During my time at SKIO Music, I created assets for print, social, event and web use focusing on business development and community engagement. Additionally, I owned creative direction and asset creation for remix contests and supported the Lead Designer on all marketing, business development, and web platform needs.  My work was viewed by Red Light Management and their artists, Youtube Music executives, and international investors.

REMIX CONTESTS + REPORTS

Remix contest assets were created monthly for the contest launch and included image/video posts and covers for all social media platforms, newsletter graphics, and all necessary SKIO platform graphics that were used throughout the contest for different initiatives such as The Loop, SKIO's feedback video series. Artists such as Switchfoot, Young the Giant, Diego Miranda, The Funk Hunters have posted the created assets to their ever-growing social followings.

At the end of each contest, an in-depth performance report was created to showcase statistics on contest demographics, top markets, top remix genres, feedback loop engagement and most engaged remixes. The report also featured the contest winners, top influencers, and talent chosen by SKIO's A&R team. For all future reports, a template was created in Apple Pages.

One pagers, Sales Decks, and proposal templates were created to appeal to the company's three main demographics: labels, artists, and their key userbase, music producers.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT + CAMPAIGNS

At the end of 2016, the Top 16 of 2016 social media campaign was created as a way of promoting the talent within the devoted user base and to increase community engagement. In addition to social media campaigns, I also worked on several email drip campaigns for user onboarding, the Instant Remix marketplace and SKIO Access, the company's blog.

EVENT SIGNAGE + MERCHANDISE

Several one-off design assets were designed, such as branded event collateral and apparel. Promotional assets were also created for occasional partnership events held at SKIO with artists like Troyboi and Autograf.
